Team Green turns coffee and ambition into banking and finance solutions for the Dutch mortgage and insurance market. We’re a creative team with technical skills and an innovative spirit, which can transform customers’ dreams and wishes into intelligent software solutions. We are a team of seasoned developers always on the lookout for new frameworks, technologies and mindsets that can help us become better professionals and can help translate our expertise into perfect applications.
Technologies
The team works their magic using technologies such as .NET Core, .NET 4.6, Web API, Entity Framework to set the grounds of a beautiful application, which is given an awesome and user-friendly face with Angular and AngularJS. We are strong believers in unit-testing, to deliver a perfect and stable application, for which we use the help of our friends Karma, Jasmine and Protractor. Docker and Kubernetes help us run the applications while Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud help us accelerate and simplify devops processes. For our development process we use Scrum and work closely with the client and the remote testing team in order to deliver high-quality products.
Expertise
We encourage learning new technologies and sharing them in “Dev talks” meetings. We care about code quality, we always do code reviews and encourage pair programming and TDD. As a team, we are always focused on sharing our experience within Maxcode, as well as with new recruits, which we onboard in internship programs. We are always focused in improving processes by attending workshops and conferences as trainees as well as speakers, and we consider that the process improvement is a healthy mix between hard skills (our development skills and the technologies we use) and soft skills (team communication and organization). For us, mornings are better with a good cup of coffee, and it’s safe to say that caffeine brings us together as a happy team.
Case studies
Our projects cover a wide range, from applications for mortgage lifetime management used by end customers, to workflows used by bank employees to gather all the documents and approvals required for a mortgage. We have also worked on projects that deal with the digitization of traditional letters, as well as insurance comparison platforms for intermediaries. This latter project helps financial advisers and insurers unlock insurance products, with the goal of achieving both cost reduction and efficiency.
