We are looking for an inventive person to join our team as a system administrator. If you are passionate about IT and enjoy learning new things while tinkering with infrastructure, we would love to get in touch.
Your main responsibility will be to ensure infrastructure stability for Maxcode and Maxcode clients. You will also manage our IT working environment, while keeping up with new developments in the industry, with our support in learning and growing.
At the moment, you may not be fully equipped to tackle all the requirements of this job – this is fine, there is a good context for developing new skills and learning new concepts.

- The role will require you to work with departments outside of IT, therefore you need to possess a high level of professionalism and communication abilities
- Knowledge of networking, infrastructure, cloud systems, workstation management systems, SharePoint, hardware, and software for maintaining infrastructure
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, GPO, MDM etc.
- Knowledge of backup policies
- Knowledge of cloud solutions (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Office 365)
- Knowledge of security of systems, routers, and firewalls
- Ability to learn and adapt to new trends and technologies
- Troubleshooting aptitudes
- Solution-oriented perspective, problem-solving skills

- As a starting point, on a daily basis you will have to “wear several hats” and be able to research, learn and apply new concepts and techniques
- Performing user administration, onboarding and offboarding, permission management, license management, policy management etc.
- Setting up and maintaining workstations (mostly laptops – Windows and MacBooks)
- Managing a multitude of Office365 services
- Performing maintenance on infrastructure of Maxcode and Maxcode clients (mainly Windows servers, virtual machines, Microsoft services, some Linux here and there)
- Keeping an eye out on our security-related metrics and KPIs, reacting to alerts
- Installing, upgrading, patching, and maintaining software installations on-premises and in the cloud
- Performing adjustments and adding new features to systems such as SharePoint, Power Automate etc.
- Managing back-up policies, back-up status and systems, applying back-ups when needed
- Documenting your work, updating existing documentation
